In the world of viral phenomena, there’s often not much that really surprises us. However, underwater photographer Regan Mizuguchi’s selfie with the pufferfish raises the standards considerably. Actually, this photo off the beautiful Kohala coast in Hawaii was only supposed to be a souvenir of an impressive dive. As fate would have it, the unexpected, eye-catching pufferfish simply stole the show and became the star of an internet hit. Mizuguchi himself could hardly contain his joy and his initial surprise quickly gave way to deep satisfaction and delight that his unassuming shot was receiving such huge and unique attention
